Baystate Medical Center - Chestnut Conference

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an internationally recognized standard of care treatment for patients in cardiac arrest and with other imminently life-threatening pathologies.  The recertification course is a four hour intensive review of the most up to date recommendations from the American Heart Association.  Students will learn algorithms for the initial care of patients with various presenting cardiac rhythms and demonstrate those skills using simulated cases.  The course emphasizes the team-work aspects of cardiac resuscitation, and students are encouraged to collaborate on producing the best possible resuscitation outcomes.

This event is fully booked.
