Healthcare Provider (formerly known as Basic Life Support Certification/Recertification) covers adult rescue breathing, adult bag-ask use, Adult CPR/AED – 1 Rescuer, Adult CPR/AED – 2 Rescuers, Adult Relief of Choking, Child Rescue Breathing, Child Bag-Mask Use, Child CPR, Child Relief of Choking, Infant Rescue Breathing and Choking, Infant Bag-Mask Use and Infant CPR.

The goal of this course is to provide you the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Healthcare Provider is required for medical professionals and/or clinical staff.   This course if available for first-time participants and individuals seeking recertification, which possess a current Healthcare Provider card in good standing.

This is a four (4) hour course which includes instructor demonstrations, videos, hands-on skills session and written tests.

Who Should Take This Course

1.      Healthcare provider and clinical staff (physicians, nurses, physician assistants, police, fire, ems, dental, school nurse, etc.) who need to acquire their Healthcare Provider Card; and

2.      Healthcare professionals who need to recertify their or whose card has expired more than thirty (30) days which is required to attend the full Healthcare Provider Course.
